GSCS Heralds’ Nail Biting Win Against Sacramento Flames

   Thursday, July 20, 2013, the Heralds (Juniors) nicked a 45-40 victory over the Sacramento Flames of Blessed Sacrament Catholic School (BSCS) in the opening of the RCBN-ES basketball tournament for students that was held at Colegio de San Bartolome Novaliches (CSBN).

   The Heralds was composed of 3rd year and 4th year highschool students Kio Adlawan, JB Salamanca, Vince Flores, Ian Pimentel, Gabriel Gonzales, Neil Santos, Alexis Dimacisil, Jordan Livelo, Prexan Arabe, Rodin Pilac, Jason Flores, Christian Jumarang, Jasper Lao, Joe Sanchez, Ellard Madriaga, Justin Lazaro and Ian Venezuela.

   The Heralds immediately held a 9-point lead against the Sacramento Flames making them dominate the 1st quarter of the game.

   The Flames managed to take back a point in the 2nd quarter  quarter but the Heralds still held a strong 8-point lead against them.         In the 3rd quarter, the Heralds created a huge 10-point gap in  the score to regain the lost point in the 2nd quarter.

   The Flames managed to diminish the 10-point lead the Heralds had against them by 5 during the 4th quarter but they were still no match against the amazing offense and defense that the Heralds executed causing the Flames to lose the game.
