By Carl Bancoro

The Heralds (Aspirants) scratched passed the Marian Force from Ina ng Buhay Catholic School with the score 54-41 in their first game last August 17, 2013.

The Heralds didn’t have a good start since Marian Force had a 4 point lead against them at the end of the 1st quarter but the Heralds managed to hold on with the help of Tim Austria and Dan Lucanas scoring 5 points each during the quarter.

The Heralds did their counterattack with Francis Flores and Angelo Dimacisil at the helm during the 2nd quarter managing the score to 31-all.

During the 3rd quarter, both teams focused more on defense but despite the slow-paced game the Heralds still managed to score enough points to come up on top with the help of Karl Tomoro.

The Heralds put up a great offense and defense during the 4th quarter limiting Marian Force to score only 2 points. With this win against the Marian Force in their first game, the Heralds will be facing off against Xavier Zealous from Saint Francis Xavier Catholic School in their next game.
