Winners Take the Glory

   The Good Shepherd Cathedral School (GSCS) launched the awarding for the students who won in the intramurals last October 21, 2013 which was hosted by Sir Marco Paolo Lovendino, the MAPEH and Hekasi (elementary level) coordinator. 

   In the elementary division, the Patrons took the championship in the chess competition while the Black Raging Dragons and Purple Dragons assumed the 2nd place and 1st runner up respectively. The patrons also took home the titles 3rd place in volleyball, champion in basketball and the biggest honor, being the overall champion in the elementary division by passing the Flaming Tigers and Blue Martyrs who took the 2nd and 1st runner up respectively.

   There was also the Touch Ball competition which was only available for the elementary levels. There were two champions for the Touch Ball competition—the Girls’ Division and the Boys’ Division. The Black Raging Dragons won the Boys’ Division while team Magis won the Girls’ Division. The Blue Martyrs took home the championship title for the volleyball: elementary division.

   In the High School Division, the Top Dog Commandos dominated the competition. They were the champions in the Table Tennis and Chess event, but they failed to take the title, champion, in the Basketball competition from Thony’s Geckos. They also lost the volleyball HS Division which was won by the Soaring Ravens. Despite the loss, the Top Dog Commandos was still the overall champion of the High School Division.
